Mortgage deserves a better LOS. We're building it

Mortgage operations run on outdated technology. The loan origination systems most lenders use are so old that only one person can use them at a time; everyone else waits. Screens that should open instantly take minutes to load, while employees sit watching wheels spin on their monitors.

All of those inefficiencies add up. Lenders spend millions of dollars per year in excess costs due to wait times, duplicate processes, and other system inefficiencies.

Vesta co-founders Mike Yu and Devon Yang saw these problems firsthand while working at Blend, the point-of-sale system that modernized the front end of the mortgage. Lenders kept pointing out the ways their loan origination systems were holding them back, and asked them to build a better one. They started the company in 2020 to do just that.

Today, Vesta is the most advanced loan origination system in the industry. Some of the country's largest lenders use Vesta, and the results are showing up in their numbers: on its fourth-quarter 2025 earnings call, Pennymac reported cutting its operational cost to originate by 25 percent.

Vesta's AI agents take those savings further. Lenders use them to automate almost everything from application through funding, lowering operating costs, cutting processing times, and turning fixed headcount into elastic capacity that flexes with demand.

We've raised $55 million to build a better LOS.
